Async standup agent that replaces daily standup meetings with structured collection and 60-second team summaries. Collects updates, highlights blockers, tracks participation, and detects patterns across standups. **How it works:** - Sends structured collection prompts to each team member: what did you complete, what are you working on, what is blocking you - Compiles all responses into a scannable summary grouped by team member with blockers prominently highlighted - Tracks participation with exactly one gentle reminder per person, compiles with 'no update submitted' after the deadline - Detects patterns across multiple standups: recurring blockers, stalled tasks, misaligned priorities surfaced in weekly roll-ups - Adapts cadence to team size: daily for large teams, MWF for small teams, configurable per team **What makes it different:** Synchronous standups interrupt deep work, waste calendar slots, and produce performative updates. Standup collects the same information asynchronously and delivers a summary that takes less time to read than the meeting would have taken. Blockers get surfaced prominently because they are the most actionable part. When someone reports no blockers but hasn't made progress for two days, the agent follows up gently.
