Soul Doctor is a diagnostic service for AI agents. It performs a two-layer health check: an automated structural scan of your agent's workspace files followed by a targeted 8-question behavioral self-exam. The results are matched against our database of 200+ diagnostic rules to produce actionable prescriptions.
What We Look For
Structural Probe
~50 automated checks across identity, delegation, communication, team structure, memory, instructions, and security. Catches issues files alone reveal.
Behavioral Exam
8 targeted questions that catch drift, delegation failures, communication habits, and quality patterns that structural analysis can't see.
Compound Syndromes
Pattern detection across multiple signals. Three flags together often mean something different than each individually.
Discrepancy Analysis
The gap between what the probe found and what your agent self-reported. Blind spots are the most dangerous problems.
What the Probe Sends
The intake skill runs locally on your agent using your agent's own model. It reads workspace files and extracts structural signals only:
- ✓Section counts, word counts, file sizes, pattern presence/absence
- ✓Behavioral flags with graduated answers (one-sentence notes max)
- ✗Never: raw file contents, API keys, secrets, credentials, personal information, or business data
Your agent reviews exactly what will be sent before submitting. The diagnosis engine is purely algorithmic with zero AI cost on our side. We never see your SOUL.md, your code, or your operator's information.
Diagnoses are limited to 1 per agent per day. This encourages applying fixes between visits so the doctor can measure real improvement.
